The Solid Red exterior paint remains in fantastic condition with a smooth and consistent finish throughout the car. All high-wear areas of the car, such as the lower rockers, the areas behind the wheel arches, etc., are covered with protective film, and it appears, according to a sticker affixed to the driver's side window, that the car has had ceramic coating done to it. Under direct sunlight, there are some areas of swirling in the paint that could easily be corrected with proper buffing, but this is really the only flaw on an otherwise immaculate example.

The windows all appear to be original glass and are clean and clear, with no issues to note. The headlights are clear and free of any issues, with no pitting or chipping to speak of. The black trim throughout the car remains in excellent condition, with proper fitment and great color to it.

The black-painted wheels are in excellent condition with a smooth and issue-free painted surface, clean lug nuts, and brightly colored lotus-branded center caps.

The tan leather interior is a perfect contrast to the bright red exterior and is not often seen on these cars, as many of them were finished in black on the inside. The Sparco branded, hardback seats are in excellent condition, showing no wear to speak of, including on the bolsters. The leather remains tight with excellent color, and the stitching is in perfect condition. The rear seats appear to have never been used and are in excellent shape. All high-traffic areas show next to no wear, and the carpets retain excellent color and fitment. The dash fits excellent and retains great color. All buttons, switches, and knobs retain a factory-fresh finish.

Everything on the interior of the car appears to function as it should. The gauges are clean and clear, the double DIN navigation and radio works as it should, and it appears that all the buttons, switches, and knobs work as they should.

The engine bay appears clean, tidy, and well-kept. Everything appears stock, and there are absolutely no signs of any issues, past or present.

The small luggage area, located to the rear of the engine bay, is in good order with proper fitting clean carpeting. The batter is neatly tucked behind its plastic cover. Overall, there are no issues to report here.

The underside of the car is clean and tidy, as you would expect from a well-kept car of the age and mileage. Factory stickers and markings are present throughout, and the factory orange seam sealer is still present between all the undertray panels. All the metal is clean and tidy with no dents or dings, etc. There is some scratching on the black lip located at the very bottom of the bumper, which is only visible from the underside of the car.

The 3.5-liter Supercharged V-6 engine fires to life with a quick prod of the starter button and settles into a smooth and consistent idle. Out on the road, it makes fantastic power, easily propelling this Evora to incredible speeds. The exhaust note is intoxicating and has a fantastic deep howl to it, almost more akin to a V8 engine.

This car is equipped with the 6-speed Aisin AI IPS automatic transmission, and it does a fantastic job moving between gears and when the driver wants a bit more of a hands-on experience, the paddles mounted behind the steering wheel provide for quick and direct shifting, both up and down through the gears, with no issues.

The large AP Racing brakes bring the car to a quick and controlled stop with no issues to note. The suspension is stereotypically Lotus, in a fantastic way, with lightning-quick handling and telepathic turn-in. Everything feels nice and tight, with absolutely no odd noises or road behavior.

The tires are Michelin Pilot Super Sport on all four corners and contain excellent tread and solid sidewalls. They are sized 285/30/20 in the rear and 235/35/19 in the front. It should be noted that 2 of the tires have DOT date codes of 2015 and should be replaced due to age, but do remain in good condition.

Although visually bigger and more modern in appearance than what one typically thinks of when visualizing a Lotus, the Evora certainly lives up to the Lotus name. The chassis and handling are absolutely sublime, and unlike many Lotus vehicles of the past, the cabin is trimmed beautifully and has all the modern amenities you could ask for (with the exception of cupholders!). The 3.5 liter supercharged V6 provides plenty of power and makes an absolutely intoxicating exhaust note, almost more akin to a high-revving Italian V8. With the push of a button, you can open the exhaust baffles and really make the engine sing as well! Despite its modernization, the Evora still strikes at the heart of what made Lotus great: pure, unadulterated driver-centric cars.
