Despite its unusual shape and even more odd nickname, this car is one of our all time favorites. Practicality and boundless fun collide in this bmw masterpiece. A superbly tactile driving experience combines with loads of power to turn this into one of the most fun cars you could ask for. It has done everything from hauling groceries to track days and has always left us with an ear to ear smile. Throughout their 4 year production run, the M-Coupe featured 3 different engine variations depending on what part of the world you resided in, but the most powerful and most desirable is the “S54” engine. Fitted only in 2001 and 2002, this 321 horsepower inline six is the same one that would find its way into the E46 M3. Combine that much horsepower with a short wheel base and stiff chassis and your just begging to have some seriously sideways fun. With just 678 of these cars imported into the united states with the uprated S54 power plant, this punchy little clown shoe is a rare thing indeed. We feel these charmingly odd shaped coupes are a sure fire future collectible that you will have endless amounts of fun in.
